Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be simpler, just add the item(s) you wish to buy by adding them to your 'shopping basket'. When you are done, click 'checkout' and choose which login option you would like to proceed with.
After you have either logged in to your existing account or set one up, then the different postage options available will then be listed. Choose the appropriate option and click continue where you can choose the payment option, if you choose 'Paypal / Debit & Credit cards, you will then be directed to paypal where you can either log in to your Paypal account if you have one or pay with your Debit or Credit Card. After paying please make sure you RETURN TO OUR SITE when instructed as there will be delays in processing your order. If you have forgotton your password for paypal, please then try to pay with your debit/credit with protx which is a very secure payment page.

- Call with card details, i can take details over the phone for payment only- you will still need to process your order through the website.
Shipping and Handling
Free Postage (UK Only)
If you spend over £70 (website only) then your item(s) will be sent free of charge via a Courier or 1st Class if you live within the UK mainland. Simply choose the 'free postage' option when checking out. We will try and send the order with 24-48 hrs.
We ship to the UK and the following European Countries only:
Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
All items will be packaged with bubble wrap and any additional packaging necessary to reduce the chance of damage in transit. We only use new boxes and jiffy bags. A small charge is included in the postage cost to cover packaging and handling.
Delivery Schedule
Once payment has been received we will aim to dispatch your order within 24 hours, where possible the same day.
Items should arrive within the following timescale, however we can not guarantee this on behalf of the Royal Mail, therefore please allow 28 days for delivery.
You must wait 15 working days before contacting us about a missing parcel and 20 working days for european orders, only after this time we can file a claim and send out a replacement order. Standard delivery and Airmail only includes £32 insurance cover, so if you order is over £32 in value then we strongly reconmend you send your order with a courier which includes £100 insurance.

Special Saturday Delivery (Must order before 1pm) ( Urgent and High Value Orders) from £7.75 and then will increase depedning on the weight of your order.
You must order before 1pm friday for you order to arrive saturday between 8-1pm) Tracking available and insured up to £500.

Special Next Day Delivery ( Must order before 1pm for next working day delivery)- from £5.75 and will then increase depending on the weight of your order
You must order before 1pm for you order to arrive the next working day, doesn't include weekends or bank holidays. This option is for Urgent and High Value Orders and is Insured up to £500. Tracking available.

Courier Next Day Delivery ( Must order before 1pm for next working day delivery) - from £6.99 and the rate will increase to £7.99 then £8.99 depending on the weight of your order.
You order must be placed before 1pm for next working day delivery, does not include weekends. You order will arrive between 8-5pm, Please call if it hasn't arrived before 4.30pm. Someone must be home to sign for the parcel. Insured up £100 and tracking is available. UK Mainland only,(Excludes Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle Of Wight and Ireland) please choose special delivery instead if you live in any of these areas. Please see shipping information for postcodes which we don't sent courier orders too.

Airmail Europe Standard Rate (5-14 days Delivery Time)
Orders being sent to Europe are sent via Airmail which takes 5-14 days to arrive. Parcel insured up to £32 and no tracking available. (There is a maximum weight for this service of 2kgs and the dimensions of the box cannot add up to more than 90cm i.e Height + Length + Width) We will contact you if this happens and your order can't be sent.

Airmail Europe International Signed For (3-7 days Delivery Time)
Order being sent to europe are sent via International signed for where your item must be signed for a proof of delivery and is quicker than airmail. Parcel is insured up to £32 and tracking is available. (There is a maximum weight for this service of 2kgs and the dimensions of the box cannot add up to more than 90cm i.e Height + Length + Width) We will contact you if this happens and your order can't be sent.
- Free Shipping- For UK ONLY (excludes the channel islands) orders over £70- all orders will be sent with a next day courier or via 1st class within 24-48hrs - UK mainland only, outside the mainland orders will be sent via 1st class or standard parcels.
Privacy policy
We at The Party Cake Shop respect our customers privacy and do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Any information disclosed to us is only used by us for the order and dispatch process. The only information that we see is your name, address, phone number and email address. Your email address may be used to send you a newsletter but only if you subscribed to it, you can also subscribe or unsubscribe at any time by logging in to your account.
The Merchant that we use is Paypal which automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using 'Secure Sockets Layer Protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits. Look out for the yellow padlock in the bottom right of your browser as you enter the Checkout section of our site. We do not see any of your credit card information as this is dealt with directly by Paypal. We are Paypal verified (see logo on homepage) which means Paypal have checked our details to ensure we are who we say we are. Feel free to click on the logo to check this for yourselves.
Returns Policy
We at The Party Cake Shop are confident that you will be happy with your purchase(s) but if for any reason you wish to return an item we provide a 7 day period starting from the day after the item(s) are delivered in which you can return your purchase. You must notify a member of staff with your order number and item you wish to send back before returning it to us. All items must be returned in a saleable, Non- opened condition. No items which are edible or to be used to decorate a cake can be returned opened. Ie: cake kits. A refund will then be issued within 30 days.
Postage, packing and returns postage are direct costs and we regret that they cannot be refunded. (applicable only if the item isn't damaged or faulty)
If items are received damaged then we must be contacted within 48 hours of delivery to discuss what is wrong with the item(s). The damaged item(s) will need to be returned to us with all the original packing and parts. Postage costs incurred by the customer in order to send it back to us will be refunded. A replacement will then be sent out (subject to stock availability) or if not available then a refund will be given which will include the postage cost originally paid by the customer. Refunds will be issued within 30 days.
If the product is to be returned due to packing error, administration error or if the item is faulty you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Incorrectly ordered or unwanted goods
Must be returned within 7 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for a refund. Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. If the item(s) returned come in sealed packs, these must be unopened.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit that are returned to us. It is your responsibility to return the item(s) to us, we therefore recommend that you send the package by Recorded / Special Delivery.
VAT
All our prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%, each customer will receive a VAT invoice with their order.
